NZ's drink drive limit for over 20 year olds is 250ug/L (micrograms of alcohol per litre of breath), and zero for anybody under the age of 20. But how on earth do you measure this?
Unfortunately there is no 'rule' about how much each person can drink to get to a certain level. This differs from person to person and other factors such as weight, amount of food eaten, time since food was eaten, different metabolisms, male vs female, stress level, etc
The only real way to know if you are legal to drive is to invest in an accurate personal breathalyser. We have a range of options available.
If you are not sure which one is right for you call one of our team to discuss.
